1989 Marathon Drivers Side Rear Axle

I know this is probably a lost cause, but does anyone here have a lead on a replacement (new or used) left Rear axle shaft for my cart? The splines are damaged beyond repair, and it seems, from some exhausting internet searching, that it's a discontinued part. (OEM 20377-G8). Plenty of passenger side axles out there, but no drivers side. I really don't want to have a custom one made...

The only place I know of that may have a new axle would be Vintage Golf Cart Parts. You can try posting in the wanted section of the forum here and see if someone may have a used one.

Unfortunately, they are one of the (many) parts sites that list the axle as obsolete.

I had the same problem. We were able to find a semi good golf cart same year on Marketplace. Will be harvesting what we need from that with some parts to spare. It definitely was much less expensive than having one made. I'd say start searching.
