I'M LOOKING AT A 1988 GAS CLUB CAR, THE GUY WANTS 1600 FOR IT, IS THIS TOO MUCH, HAVE NO IDEA. IT HAS A LIFT KIT, REAR (FOLDING) SEAT, LIGHTS AND BIGGER TIRES. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HP OR CC THE ENGINE IS IN AN 88. THANKS IN ADVANCE. NICK

Well, I did buy the cart after looking at it, I got if for 1500 even, it was very clean and the 20" tires are like new. I want to replace the shocks as I can tell they really need replacing. How to I do this, is it best to just take of one and take it to a club car place that sells them. I think we have two golf car businesses in the southwest Houston area. Are the front and rear shock different. Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm just new to this. Thanks in advance.

The front and rear shocks are different. You should be able to go to any Club Car dealer and tell them the year and model and they'll know which shock you need. Or you can order them at one of online golf cart parts places. Here's a link to one.

HRC- Thanks for the inform on the shocks, the link was very helpful., when I get this lookin' the way "I" want it, I'll post up pics.
