I am working on a 1982 Ez go 2cycle for a buddy and am wondering about disconnecting the oil injection and having him just put mixed gas. This is because he is not really mechanically inclined and if there was an issue it would blow up before he realized it.
Soooo any downside to mixing versus the oil injection. The cart is used to putz around a cabin community.
It was also backfiring but I think I got this mostly out of it with adjusting the throttle to the petal. It will still "wiff" occasionally when going from full to no gas coasting almost stopped and then about a half tap. It will sound "bogged" on these occasions. Any thoughts?
