1980s? Taylor Dunn Tee Bird

We’ve had this TeeBird for a few years and it ran when we first got it. It started a bunch of fires every time we drove it through our fields so we ended up parking it. It’s been sitting for about 4 or 5 years and now we’re trying to get it going again. We’ve gotten new tires and charged up the batteries. Everything works great when it is plugged into the charger but as soon as we unplug it, the cart dies. I have minimal experience with electric carts so I’m open to any insight.
This is going to be my project cart for the next few months as I restore it so any leads on cheap seats and lights are also appreciated

That’s what I had figured was the case. I found a place that has replacements for a good price, I’m going to grab some and keep you updated. Thanks for the help!

Here’s an update on the girl! It’s been a fun little project. But I’m trying to get new hub caps, these ones are the only 2 shiny ones I have. But I’m having problems finding ones that will fit, the inner rim size and hubcaps measure 5.75”. Do you have any website recommendations I can look into?
