1972 Harley Starter/Generator Needed

Up to last fall it was not missing, someone stole the starting/generator so now I am out one starter/generator and pulley. They did a quick job; remove the three bolts and cut the wires.
So first of all looking for a replacement, I see listings of starter/generators but very few have a year that it may replace.

So.. Does anybody know if this item would work on a 1972 cart?
If not would anybody have any idea where a person could locate a replacement?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear someone ripped off your starter...

I'm pretty sure all Harley golf carts use the same starter but not 100% positive. Check with Vintage Golf Cart Parts they should be able get what you need. Here's a link.
