2019 Club Car Onward electric golf cart As title states I turned on headlight switch getting no headlight nor signals or horn tried putting 12v directly onto headlight switch still no power to accessories again it was a direct connection from 12v batteries headlight switch so do not believe it would be a fuse issue need to understand what is going on or what I’m doing wrong looked up gas version for 2018 onward golf cart not showing all pertinent wiring is it possible that I may be not completing circuit to ground? If so any idea which wire I can directly connect from the battery to complete ground also may have to double check if battery negative is going to chassis ground any help would be appreciated. I do have a meter and am somewhat knowledgeable on circuits but for now I’m stumped

I understand that I just ordered a 48v lithium battery that I will be installing and ordered a new 30a 48v-12v reducer. What I did was bypass all that till I get the battery and wired to a 12v battery to power the accessories at this point I’m going to check for proper grounding putting 12v directly to headlight switch did nothing only other thing I can think of is ground.

If I connect a ground directly to one of the headlights and one of the tail lights would that enable all the accessories to work ? That would also tell me it’s a ground issue

Only wish I had a more comprehensive wiring diagram for the 2019 Club Car Onward golf cart would show me how all grounds interact.

Technically there are no grounds on an electric cart; nothing actually grounds to the frame like gas carts. Everything is battery positive and battery negative. The 12v accessories will operate off the positive and negative of the 12volt converter as well. Frame or chassis is not a ground if that is what you are implying

where on the headlight switch did you connect 12V+ ? one place will work another may not
did you connect 12V- to the circuit ?

no power or they did not work ?

why would you look up a gas version ? couldnt you find a 48V version ?
gas versions use a chassis ground the same as all fossil fuel vehicles

No electric vehicles of any kind, anywhere connect the chassis to battery negative
DO NOT CONNECT CHASSIS TO B- FOR AN ELECTRIC CART
there will be wiring for connecting accessories to B-

Did not realize that there is no chassis ground on electric golf cart thank you for illuminating me also just purchased golf cart with no batteries so I decided to go with lithium also as said in my post I connected the headlight switch directly to the battery no power will again trace wire it seems previous owner did some of his own electrical while tracing a few wires I noticed he changed colors of where it connects to battery and where it connects to headlight switch will double check wiring and test for voltage again. The wiring diagram I was able to find was for a gas cart not able to find wiring for electric cart. I would think it would be the same except for chassis ground

Got it thanks wizard. If the signal stalk is faulty would that cause no accessories 12v to function? Replaced relay switch controller still no good just ordered a universal signal horn stalk we will see
