12 volt batteries

ok, just asking for a guy who swears it worked? ''for a short time'' he tells me that trojan told him that they were not going to be selling 48 volt batteries? if he purchased 4-- 12 volts it would work....... ok so now the thing is in front of my garage and i'm the only one with tools. is this possible? and why did the cart only run for a short while and will not run now. please under stand, i want nothing to do with this, if it going to waste my time. so i'm limited on info untill someonec says yes it works or no your out of your mind!! what about the carts charger will that work? or did he run it untill batteries died out? now he doesn't know how to charge it? please any info that would help remove this cart from out in front of my garage door would be helpful thanks

4 12 volts will work... Voltage is voltage, regardless of how many batts. If it doesn't run now, try charging each battery separately with a 12 v. charger. This is assuming you have a 48 volt cart...

thanks. it is 48 volts, but now i have 1 more question will he have to use a 12volt charger evertime. he needs a charge, or will the standard 48 volt club car one work. when batteries are back up to snuff?

You may need to charge them seperately to get the voltage high enough to make the cart charger kick on.

48 volt cart you need approx. 38 for charger to come on .....if you don,t have the voltage you will have to charge each one.............................................
