05 club hot resisitor

I have a 05 club car 48 volt IQ kids ran over a meatel pole and car went dead 30 min later resisitor wires got hot and melted I replaced the selinoid and resistor still gets hot checked all wires cant find any breakes was told the controler was bad ?

A bad controller can cause the resistor to get hot. Does the cart run now? If this all started after hitting the pole I'd inspect all the wires again to make sure nothing is shorting...

No the cart does not run I also do not here a clicking in the silonide
