we have an 01 pds problem cart switch in forward the cart goes backwards put the cart in reverse the cart moves forward buzzer goes on . installed new controller soleniod cart runs but not the right way

Did it do that with the old controller? Double check your wiring.

check the wiring...sounds like the white and black wires on the controller are switched. see what happens when you switch those wires
