wire

I was inspecting my battery tray on my 06’ Club Car Precedent, making sure I did everything I needed to, I went to put the seat back on and it snagged on this wire. I put the cart in tow mode just to be safe. I’m not too sure what I should do to fix it, or even what it does to. Any advice helps...
