electric fuel pump

I have a 2015/2016 Club Car Precedent with electric fuel pump and fuel injector. It has a Subaru EX40 motor. It will run about a half mile, start sputtering, and cut off. I can turn the key off and back on, and I can hear the fuel pump re-pressurize the fuel line, and the cart will again run...
