deep cycle batteries

hello all - My farm cart is a workhorse, an early 90's electric EZGO with three 12 volt Evermax DC 29 deep cycle batteries- bought it 6 mos ago. It's jerky when taking off from a stop. i charge it regularly and turn off the switch when not in use but lately it's been running slower> batteries...
